This
website is the first and only known website on the subject of the curious
Victorian-era child's toy called the Chautauqua Industrial Art Desk.
The challenge of this website design was to create a late Victorian look and feel, yet take advantage of features available through online technology. |

Scans of the antique and out-of-print booklets make rare primary source material about art education available to the general public. Curiously enough, this website receives more fan mail than all of my other websites combined. |
